I finally managed to work out a fairly good idea of my salary breakdown starting in September, after allowing for student loan, pension, and all the money the government wants to take off you! Therefore, it has become very evident that I need to watch my little shopping habit and stop spending on frivolous little bits (even though a post coming up soon is all about some lovely new things I've found and want!).
I don't usually get involved in freebies or give-aways (although I probably should!), but I came across a site called Good To Know, which has some, as well as loads of other money saving tips and tricks. I love to eat out, and the site has a number of restaurant offers that change daily. Also they have great recipe advise, and a weekly meal planner which will come in really handy as I'll be cooking for one which is always more expensive. Even their really inexpensive value for money recipes look yummy!
I'm not big on dieting but I did try a detox plan recently which I though was a fantastic healthy kick start and actually really enjoyable trying new foods although it was really strict. Good To Know have their own version which looks fab, I can't wait to give it a go soon. I know it's not for everyone, but I find it a great idea very occasionally.
The only problem with the site are the adverts - there's a lot of them! It's annoying, but still worth a visit!
