About Beauty and the Briefcase
I started this blog because I got fed up with my old Tumblr account and wanted something that looked a bit more professional, where I could follow other bloggers and write more, rather than reblogging so many pretty pictures! I also felt like I'd completely outgrown my Tumblr account, I think I made it at the very start of university and it didn't mean much to me anymore.
I started the blog in June 2012 even though what I really wanted to use it for was a combination of lifestyle posts and personal posts about my new graduate job which is starting in September. I thought it would be a good idea to get it going a bit sooner though, and set the scene a bit. Until September it's more to do with shopping, my interests and pretty things that make me happy! I'm excited to see where it will take me in a couple of months!

This is me! I'm a 21 year old university graduate from South Wales. I studied BA History in London for 3 years and for now I'm back home for the Summer, working part time with some really great people, and waiting patiently until September when I'll be moving up North to start my new job - a banking graduate scheme.
I love... pretty things, trinkets, stationery, travel & holidays, photos, photo editing, books, music, fashion, jewellery, movies, everything Cath Kidson!
