The Tassel's Worth the Hassle!

Graduation is coming up fast, and I know I should be excited (I am a bit), but mostly I'm really nervous. Graduation in the UK is not as big of an event as it is in the US but it is still important, and I'm the first one in my family to do it so everyone else is really excited.

I get to spend the day with my mum and dad which is always good and a rarity, and of course get a dress and plan a restaurant for us after. So of course, the main issue here is the dress... what to wear? My style is very minimalist, so it will no doubt be a block colour and very plain. I adore Hobbs, but I think it might be a bit pricey for this event!

I don't even know what colour to pick, or how you're supposed to dress for these things. Just today I saw this adorable nude dress with a bow on the back (left), I think it's really classy. I'm addicted to smart dresses although I rarely have the occasion to wear them! I also love the range where I found this beauty. I like Dorothy Perkins but ever since they've launched their 'Collection' range I've been really impressed with them. Unfortunately I don't even have a clue what I'm looking for, other than being smart and classy. I also really like this champagne dress which is quite similar, but ohh the decisions!! 

It doesn't stop there though - it's not a case of choosing which nude dress I prefer, I also adore this navy 'lampshade' design dress. I can't believe my primary concern is with clothes on this day, but it's such a good opportunity to check out that gorgeous new range! All I've got to do now is put up with wearing the motor board and gown! Hopefully one of these will pretty it up a bit.
